PROCEDURE
The surgery removes most breast tissue, and the nipples are repositioned as free nipple grafts. It is important to note that gender affirmation top surgery may require leaving some native breast tissue behind, making it necessary to continue self-exams and clinical exams to monitor for breast cancer.
RECOVERY
The recovery is around 2-3 weeks. The nipple grafts take approximately 5-7 days to complete the initial healing, with final healing taking place over 2-4 weeks.
RESULTS
The removal of the breast tissue is visible right away, while the final nipple results may take several weeks to become evident.

Male-to-female breast surgery involves the placement of a breast implant to create a more feminine appearance on the chest. Although not a requirement, it is recommended to be on hormonal therapy for at least 12 months before surgery to optimize results. PROCEDURE
The surgery is like that of breast augmentation. Small incisions are made at the base of the breasts, and the implants are placed under the chest muscles.
RECOVERY
Patients feel better around one week after surgery but need at least 2-3 weeks for their incisions to fully heal.
RESULTS
Results are visible after surgery, but the implants may take several weeks to settle into their final position.
